Daimler and Infosys partner to drive Hybrid Cloud Startegy in Automotive Strategy

Infosys has now signed a digital transformation deal with Daimler to drive the hybrid cloud-powered solutions and IT infrastructure services.

Daimler is the world's leading car and truck manufacturers, its vehicle brands include the Smart hybrid cars, Maybach and Mercedes-Benz.

Infosys and Daimler Deal

Post deal, Daimler will transform its IT operating model and infrastructure landscape across the service desk, SAP, workplace services, data center, and network with Infosys.

The deal with Infosys will enable the company to deepen its focus on software engineering to establish a fully scalable on-demand digital IT infrastructure and anywhere-anytime workplace.

Some of the key deliverables of the deal include hybrid cloud technology using Infosys Cobalt's brand of service offering, as well as other cloud providers, to focus on open source adoption.

The partnership will also pave the way for a carbon-neutral solution, by consolidating and rationalizing data centers across all regions of Daimler’s operations, and the creation of cognitive solutions.
