Coupa Acquires AI startup LLamasoft for $1.5 Billion

Coupa Software has acquired AI-powered supply chain design and planning startup LLamasoft for $1.5 Billion.

Founded in 2002, Michigan headquartered LLamasoft offers an AI-powered Enterprise Decision Platform. The company has raised a total of $56.1 million in funding to date, according to CrunchBase. Organizations can leverage the llama.ai platform to create purpose-built applications that leverage an end-to-end decision data model along with a library of proven supply chain algorithms.

Coupa's LLamasoft Acquisition

The acquisition will help Coupa to solidify its supply chain capabilities of its comprehensive Business Spend Management platform. Thus allowing customers to drive greater value through BPM processes.

LLamasoft capabilities will also allow Coupa customers to make smarter and faster supply chain decisions, notes the announcement.
