Lenovo launches Cloud Services and ThinkAgile hyperconverged (HCI) Infrastructure solutions

Lenovo Data Center Group (DCG) launched new hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) solutions. The company has also launched its Lenovo Cloud Services.

For these HCI solutions, Lenovo has partnered with Nutanix, Microsoft, and VMWare. The HCI solutions also enhance software-defined systems management capabilities with Lenovo XClarity, notes the announcement.

Vice President and General Manager of Server, Storage and Software Defined Infrastructure, Lenovo Data Center Group, Kamran Amini, said, "The strategy toward the new, smarter normal is around modernizing the data center and breaking down the longstanding digital barriers that many organizations face today. HCI solutions can help in enhancing VDI experience for the remote workforce in the COVID-19 situation.

Lenovo's ThinkAgile HX HCI solutions are empowered with AMD EPYC processors. It comes with factory-installed Nutanix software. Lenovo's ThinkAgile MX Azure Stack HCI Edge and Data Center Solutions provide ease of deployment, management, and scalability of Azure services from edge-to-core-to-cloud. At the same time, Lenovo's ThinkAgile VX HCI Solutions brings reliability to SAP HANA database deployments, notes the announcement.

Lenovo is focusing on ready-to-deploy HCI solutions along with leaders in hybrid cloud software.
