Accenture to buy N3, enhances its AI-powered insights into B2B Sales

Accenture

Accenture is now all set to acquire the N3, an Atlanta based technology-driven sales and demand generation firm that enables the customer to drive sales growth in a virtual environment.

The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Atlanta headquartered N3 is founded by Jeff Laue in the year 2004. The company leverages its specialized sales talent in segments like 5G networks, cloud, and software platforms. The team is powered by the cloud-based, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technology that enables efficient customer interactions and sales conversions.

Executive Opinion

Manish Sharma, group chief executive of Accenture Operations, said, "Increasingly, B2B buyers expect the same ‘Amazon-like’ interactions they experience as consumers when purchasing far more complex services — a trend that’s only accelerated in the current pandemic. N3 provides the perfect combination of skilled talent and technology to remove barriers and better influence purchasing decisions at critical stages."

Jeff Laue, founder and chief executive officer of N3, said, "We were drawn to Accenture, in large part, due to the growth opportunity– as far as developing talent, advancing capabilities and joining a company with strengths and values that complement our own. Together, our capabilities provide a differentiated, data-driven approach that companies can use to sharpen their sales focus and deliver on the ambition of sustainable growth."

Accenture's N3 acquisition

The firm now serves leading brands such as SAP, Microsoft, and Cisco. The acquisition of N3 will add around 2200 employees to Accenture across the globe, along with the AI and ML capabilities.

With the Accenture SynOps platform, these combined capabilities could offer a customer the ability to aggregate millions of interaction points into some of the actionable insights that help to expand and drive sales growth.

Accenture recently launched its 'Cloud First' group with 3 Billion in investment. The group will accelerate the digital transformation of businesses by becoming 'cloud-first'.
