Uptycs secured $30 million in Series B Funding round led by Sapphire Ventures

Uptycs, a SQL-powered security analytics platform, has recently secured $30 million in Series B funding round.

Uptycs is founded by the Ganesh Pai. The company provides SaaS, and on-premises SQL powered security analytics platform for security analysts, incident response teams, and IT professionals. To date, the company has raised $43 Million in funding rounds.

By modeling the domain of endpoint and cloud security using relational database techniques and real-time pipeline processing, we've created an innovative SQL-powered security analytics platform for visibility and accelerated time to insight. It is very gratifying to hear a user's aha-moment when they realize the possibilities of the Uptycs' platform are only limited by one's imagination."

The round was backed by the Sapphire Ventures, with participation from existing investors ForgePoint Capital and Comcast Ventures.

Post funding, Jai Das, the Managing Director at Sapphire Ventures, will join as the Uptycs, Board of Directors team. The company, as of now, has plans to accelerate the growth and adoption of its SaaS and on-prem SQL-powered security analytics platform, notes the announcement.
