Italian Bank, Banca Sella Launches Bitcoin Trading

Italy’s leading banks, Banca Sella, have now started providing Bitcoin trading services via its platform named Hype due to coronavirus pandemic, reports CoinTelegraph.

With the rising national debt and the constant increase in the death rate due to the coronavirus pandemic, it appears that Italy does not have much positive news to share or anything to look forward to.

The bank has created a platform for its users that will enable the trading of Bitcoin without having to access any of the cryptocurrency exchanges such as ZebPay, CoinBase, Binance, or eToro.

Executive Opinion

In CoinTelegraph report, General Manager at Hype, Antonio Valitutti, said, "The cryptocurrency and Bitcoin market, in particular, continues to arouse interest, especially among the public that constitutes our customer base — by definition young and smart and who, increasingly, expect to be able to access this world through the tool that they use to manage money on a daily basis."

Crypto boost in Italy

Banca Stella’s Hype has been active and popular in Italy. The additional support of Bitcoin will Hype will help boost cryptocurrency trading. The Hype platform already deals with financial instruments such as CFD and derivatives trading.

The Bitcoin wallets are directly linked to Hype accounts. Thus it eliminates the need to recharge another wallet or generate a separate one using other platforms. The customer can continue with the Bitcoin trading until they have a balance in the Hype account.

Conio, a Milan based startup, has also introduced an additional Bitcoin wallet on the Hype platform, without any KYC requirement, note the report.
