Avanade acquires, UK-based Data and AI solutions provider, Altius

Avanade announced the acquisition of UK based data and AI solutions provider Altius.
The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Avanade offers digital and cloud services, business solutions on the Microsoft ecosystem. Founded in 2007, Altius specializes in data performance management and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions.

Executive Opinion

General Manager for Avanade UK and Ireland, Andy Gillett, said, "Harnessing the power of data for business growth is a well-documented opportunity, so we’re delighted that Altius will join us as together we continue to push the boundaries of what clients can achieve with data and AI."

Altius CEO, Simon Goldsmith, said, "We are delighted to be joining Avanade and today’s news truly supports the next phase of growth for our business. We will continue to offer our clients the leading innovative data and AI solutions we are known for, while also extending our offerings to include more business solutions."

Avanade to leverage Altius capabilities

As a part of the acquisition, Altius brings capabilities in data platform, managed services and data visualization to Avanade. These capabilities enhance Avanade's abilities to deliver AI at scale.

Altius has a team of more than 300 cloud and data specialists. Altius' enterprise performance management expertise is a key to Avanade’s technological capabilities, notes the announcement.
