Temenos, Google Cloud Partners to Accelerate Banks’ Digital Transformation

Temenos has recently revealed an extended partnership with the Google Cloud on the slides of the Parish Fintech Forum 2020.

The partnership will help enable financial services companies to run mission-critical software on the cloud.

Temenos' full suite of banking applications and software will be available on the Google Cloud Platform. The partnership will help banks who leverage Temenos's modern cloud-native and API driven application. These banks can leverage Google Cloud to run Temenos' applications at scale. Now banks can release quicker software solutions, achieve tangible business benefits, and launch new business models as well, according to the announcement.

Both companies were collaborating since 2019.

Temenos and Google Cloud partnership

With the help of this extended partnership, Temenos will also become the first banking solution software provider to run on Google Cloud Anthos. Anthos is a Google Cloud's multi and hybrid cloud application platform that helps to secure, modernize, and build applications.

Temenos, as of now, has more than 3000 financial services institutions running on its API backed and cloud-native platforms. Temenos and Google Cloud will jointly go-to-market with leading-edge financial services offerings, notes the announcement.

Last year, TCS also partnered with Google Cloud to help customers accelerate Digital Transformation. With Google Cloud partnership, TCS was aiming to build industry-specific cloud solutions to help clients accelerate digital transformation and improve customer experiances.
