OKCoin, RADAR, and eToro join Crypto Rating Council (CRC)

CRC recently announced three new members, OKCoin, RADAR, and eToro have joined Crypto Rating Council (CRC).

The Crypto Rating Council initiative offers a point-based securities rating framework.  The framework assesses if any crypto asset is likely to be classified and designated as a security under the U.S. federal securities laws.

The rating is given from 1 to 5. A rating of 1 means the Council’s analysis found that an asset has few or no characteristics consistent with treatment as security. A rating of 5 means the Council’s analysis found that an asset has many characteristics strongly consistent with treatment as security.

The Crypto Rating Council in a blog post said, "Since the launch of the Crypto Rating Council (CRC) and the initial publication of twenty asset scores last fall, we have made steady progress engaging the developer community, recruiting new members, and producing additional asset scores."
