Avaya's Device as a Service (DaaS) offering now in Europe and Canada

Avaya has introduced its Device as a Service (DaaS) offering in Europe and Canada regions.

DaaS offers different kinds of benefits such as lower upfront costs, device management, and deployment simplification and leverage to upgrade to newer and latest innovative technologies.

Avaya’s Device as a Service allows businesses to subscribe to Avaya’s latest smart desktop devices monthly. As a part of the offering, Avaya offers three modes such as upfront, financed, and subscription to its Avaya Desktop Experience.

The service was first introduced in the United States in 2018 allowing businesses to upgrade their devices to their advanced versions without any penalty.

Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Avaya, Hardy Myers, "We are excited to announce the availability of our Device as a Service offer to our customers in Canada and Europe. This announcement, along with the recently announced Avaya IX™ Subscription offer and the Avaya’s OneCloud™ set of service offers, now enables customers to leverage an OpEx model for both their Avaya software and their Avaya devices."

Avaya’s DaaS offering

The Avaya DaaS offering is now available for Avaya IX IP Phones, the Avaya Vantage portfolio, select Avaya IX Conference Phones, Avaya IX Collaboration Unit are available to businesses as a part of Device as a offering.

Avaya's Device as a Service offers one, three or five years contracts. During the term, customers can upgrade to higher-priced devices without any penalty and cancellation options are also available, notes the announcement.
