AWS Announces AWS Control Tower for Secure and Compliant multi-account AWS environment

Amazon Web Services recently announced the general availability of AWS Control Tower. The newly introduced service helps AWS customers in setting up and continuously govern secure, compliant multi-account AWS environments.

The announcement noted that organizations planning to migrate to AWS wants guidance and help in setting up a secure, and compliant environment across many accounts. At the same AWS customers want to use the right tools to enforce security policies.

AWS Control Tower service enables users to address these issues. The service helps deploy single landing zone where accounts and workloads can be provisioned without affecting the industry and AWS standards for identity, federated access, and account structure.

With this availability of AWS Control Tower service, the customer is benefitted with an automated landing zone, a pre-configured-environment built in agreement with AWS’s best-practices, with all this come a pre-packaged set of guardrails-clearly defined rules for security, operations, and compliance – that provide ongoing governance.

Customers can use AWS Control Tower to carry out their multi-account environment with just a few clicks in the AWS Management Console. There are zero additional charges or upfront commitments to use this service. Customers have to loosen their pockets only for AWS services which have specifically been enabled in order to manage up their landing zone.

AWS Control Tower is available in the US East (N Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), and EU (Ireland).
