AI Platform Service to Coach Startups

GREENLIGHT, Business coaching firm, launches a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) simulator product to train startup founders how to overcome obstacles to be sustainable and profitable.

The product was code-named "Crucible". A team of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tech developers, gaming experts, and serial entrepreneurs brought their domain expertise into a continuous learning platform and designed crucible product.   A proprietary Smart Start framework from Greenlight is ued for assessing and scoring managerial competency and further improving capability with targeted action plans and simulating successful outcomes.

Crucible was tested with startups from Columbia University and several candidates competing in the IBM Watson AI XPRIZE. According to the announcement, "Crucible's AI adaptive learning and simulation modules were tested under secrecy to protect the identity of the cohort and followed up with several focus groups. The results of the scenario-based training were dramatic improvements in management collaboration, problem-solving, tactical adaptability, work agility, and speed of task completion.  Stronger competencies in these areas correlate to improved company metrics such as annual recurring revenue, total contract value, gross margins, and month-on-month growth."

Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, Brian Patrick, said, "New entrepreneurs are motivated to launch their product lines, buy shy away from the demands of actual customers and investors. This leads to an introverted management style that is not sustainable under high stress.  We will incorporate Crucible training modules in online and onsite proctored sessions to build up our clients' confidence and skill under the most chaotic and volatile situations."

GREENLIGHT Inc has recently come out of stealth mode. It provides an AI-as-a-Service platform to help startups and Fortune 100 firms assess their management competencies, improve their capabilities, and simulate future scenarios in a virtual lab. The announcement also said that they have raised around $4 million in seed funding from competitions like TechWeek NYC and the IBM Watson AI XPRIZE.
