DivvyCloud Platform now supports Alibaba Cloud


DivvyCloud is extending its platform to support Alibaba Cloud. The Divvycloud platform already supports AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms. Alibaba cloud platform ranks second in Asia Pacific region driven mostly by Chinese market followed by AWS and ranks fourth worldwide according to a recent report.

DivvyCloud helps organizations to mitigate security and compliance risks. It provides virtual guardrails for security, compliance, and governance to public cloud infrastructure. It performs real-time, continuous discovery of Alibaba Cloud infrastructure. This allows customers to identify and mitigate security threats to their cloud infrastructure due to platform's real-time detection, says the announcement.

There are different policy guardrails available that are aligned with SOC 2, CIS, PCI DSS, GDPR, HIPAA and other frameworks are available. These policies identify and alert any of the violations allowing customers to take a remedial course of action.

CEO of DivvyCloud, Brian Johnson said, "A number of our customers are multi-nationals who are expanding their presence in China to capture the enormous market in that region. To help tap into this market, companies have embraced Alibaba Cloud. In response, our latest product release embraces Alibaba Cloud and creates parity within our platform for Alibaba Cloud with other major public cloud providers. Our goal is to continuously expand the capabilities of our product to help customers like General Electric, Discovery Communications, and Fannie Mae, mitigate security and compliance risk by providing virtual guardrails for the rapidly changing world of public cloud."
