KX brings Streaming Analytics to Microsoft Azure Marketplace

KX has partnered with Microsoft to bring its streaming analytics software to the Microsoft Azure platform.

To expand real-time streaming analytics and decision-making capabilities in the financial services and the industrial IoT sector, KX and Microsoft will build a long-term technical and go-to-market roadmap, notes the announcement.

According to MarketsandMarkets report, the global streaming analytics market is expected to grow from $12.5 billion in 2020 to USD 38.6 billion by 2025.

Streaming Analytics constantly calculates statistical analytics from the stream of real-time data. As an example, real-time data could be coming from IoT devices, GPS data from cars. A few companies offering streaming analytics offerings include Striim, SAP, TIBCO, IBM, Software AG, Oracle. There are also open-source projects offering streaming analytics offerings such as Apache Spark, Apache Storm, and Hadoop, etc.

KX's Stream Analytics at Microsoft Azure

It should be noted that Microsoft Azure already has their won Azure Stream Analytics offering. It is real-time stream analytics and a complex event-processing engine. The streaming analytics offering from Azure can analyze and process high volumes of fast streaming data from multiple sources simultaneously. 

KX has recently launched its KX Insights offering. It is a cloud-native streaming analytics platform and available at the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.

KX Insights can scale to process huge amounts of real-time data. The KX's streaming analytics platform is benchmarked as the fastest in the industry, notes the announcement.
