Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) and IBM partner for Hybrid Cloud journey


Coca-cola European Partners (CCEP) has partnered with IBM to accelerate its transformation journey with an open hybrid cloud environment using Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. 

IBM services will help CCEP to migrate to IBM managed IBM hybrid cloud environment. CCEP will leverage IBM public cloud and migrate large SAP workloads, notes the announcement.

Chief Information Officer of Coca-Cola European Partners, Peter Brickley, said, "Our successful collaboration with IBM over the last few years has given us the confidence to take the next step in our strategic cloud-first digital transformation. The selection of IBM's hybrid cloud architecture with Red Hat OpenShift gives us the flexibility to optimize across different public cloud platforms according to our future needs."

IBM Cloud and CCEP's Hybrid Cloud Journey

The partnership will help reduce CCEP's operational expenses and improve upon IT resiliency. CCEP will also leverage analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in its daily operations.

CCEP also intends to leverage Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat OpenShift platform to build modern applications and run those at IBM public cloud, notes the announcement.
