HCL to offer Digital Transformation services from its Global Delivery Center in Hartford

HCL announced its new Global Delivery Center (GDC) in Hartford, Connecticut.

The IT services giant will offer digital transformation services from its GDC. The primary clientele focus will be in the field of smart manufacturing, insurance, aerospace, and defense industries.

The GDC will create local jobs at Hartford, Connecticut and HCL will also drive the investment to build a strong regional ecosystem, notes the announcement.

Executive Vice President for MEGALT Verticals in US for HCL Technologies, Ajay Bahl, said, "We are excited to begin this partnership with Stanley Black & Decker, and this delivery center will be a true testament to our collective vision for digital and transformative technologies for smart manufacturing. This growth is possible based on our partnerships, relationships with local and state governments, commitment to the local ecosystem, and the recently signed deal with Stanley Black & Decker."

The first GDC client signed up as the world’s largest tool company known as Stanley Black & Decker. HCL will deploy 1,000 people globally for Stanley Black & Decker.

As a part of its deal with Stanley Black & Decker, HCL will digitally transform Stanley Black & Decker’s global application and infrastructure environments.
