tZero and BLOQ FLIX to Crypto Tokenize Films

tZero, blockchain company fo capital markets and BLOQ FLIX, blockchain entertainment financing company, both partnered together to tokenize BLOQ FLIX’s finance options for the entertainment business.

BLOQ FLIX is a Montana-based media finance and advisory firm. The company helps in funding production of feature films, television programming and digital/online content for mini-major studio producers and independent producers. The company has financed 30 entertainment projects, according to the announcement.

Founded in 2014, tZero is a company of Medici Ventures, the blockchain subsidiary of Overstock.com.

Executive Opinion

Tokenizing Films 

tZERO’s tokenization protocol technology will be used to tokenization of entertainment financing further facilitating investors’ participation in the financing process.  Thus powering BLOQ FLIX’s entertainment financing capabilities with blockchain technology.

Part of more than 150 entertainment projects, BLOQ FLIX founders Brandon Hogan and Jonathan Helmuth are experienced in the global entertainment sector and secured $100 million of production funds.

JumpStart Securities, LLC will serve as the placement agent for these offerings, the announcement says.
