Huobi Public Chain White Paper is now Available

Huobi Group released its white paper for Huobi Chain.

The Huobi chain is a Huobi Group's first public blockchain. Huobi chain plans to use Byzantine Fault Tolerance - Delegated Proof of Stake (BFT-DPoS) implementation algorithm. The work on Huobi blockchain is still in progress and expected to accelerate in 2019.

Huobi Group is one of the cryptocurrency financial services providers with offices in Singapore, the United States, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong. It also operates crypto / digital asset exchange platform Huboi Global, trading more than 100 cryptocurrencies / digital assets.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Huobi Global, Livio Weng, said, "This is just one more way that Huobi is seeking to improve the global digital asset and blockchain community. Once launched, Huobi Chain will offer users a variety of benefits, including security, transparency, fast, scalability, and smart contract capability."

According to the announcement, key Huobi Chain features include :

• Safety first architecture: Huobi Chain will be built from the ground up to ensure security and safety. Strict security audits and testing will be conducted to ensure this.
• Efficient dual chain functionality: Huobi Chain will be designed to accommodate high speed, high-frequency transactions and will support complex applications like the business and financial contracts.
• Effective governance: with both on-chain and off-chain elements

How the Huobi public blockchain rolls out is remains to be seen. Huobi Group claims that efforts on Huobi blockchain will accelerate in 2019.
