How to find ESX server version that you are running

This is a quick post after a long time…
In order to find out VMware ESX server version that you are running, just login to your ESX server using SSH and type in following CLI,
# vmware -v
VMware ESX Server 3.5.0 build-<build-numbers>
That’s it.
